What Will Your Impact Be? CTE Posters

Target Audience
Middle and High School Students from the districts in our 10-county north Texas region.
Objective
The objective of these posters is to challenge students to consider alternative career pathways that have a lasting impact on their community and provide meaning and purpose for their lives.
While a traditional post-secondary journey would likely include college, more and more students are discovering that there are also meaningful career options outside of the conventional college experience. With this in mind, our CTE program decided to launch a campaign to spark students' interest in alternative career paths. These posters were provided to all of the secondary school campuses in our region to help raise awareness of these important job roles.
Evidence of Success
Student interest in CTE courses continues to rise, and it is evident in Region 11. In 2022-23, the number of students enrolled in CTE courses in our region increased by 40%. While we can't claim full responsibility for this uptick in interest, our poster series is part of a larger, concerted effort to impact this change. In addition, we continue to receive district requests for more sets of posters to hang in their schools.
